Bedroom & Office, Living Spaces

This room was part of a second-floor renovation for clients expecting their first baby. The bedrooms on the second floor were unbearably cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer so insulating with spray foam was crucial for the family’s comfort. Wall to wall carpet was removed to reveal original fir floors. A neutral palette of black, white and natural wood tones creates the backdrop for their safari themed baby girl’s room. The space retains visual depth and interest by layering textured wood, creamy leather and glossy white with pops of black and hot pink.

For this project, Kristyn also designed the interior furnishings and soft goods.
