In this mid-century home, originally designed and built by renowned builder and developer, Robert Rummer, the goal was to transform the existing master bathroom into a space that would honor the integrity of the home’s original architecture. Working within the existing configuration, the remodel focused on new cabinetry, finishes & fixtures.

The original concrete floors and cedar ceiling paneling were the starting point for finish selection. The floating walnut vanity was custom-built in Portland, Oregon and adorned with mid-century walnut furniture pulls. The custom concrete counter was designed with an integrated double wide sink to accommodate two faucets.

In the shower room a subdued and neutral large format tile allowed for the original step-down shower to be the focal point of the room.
