For a couple who had recently relocated to Portland, their new Tudor home had a generously sized master bedroom with closets tucked into attic space below sloping ceilings. Kristyn proposed a plan that would steal space from the oversized room to create a full height walk-in closet and master bathroom.

A custom vanity pays homage to the home’s original stained millwork and a cement tile backsplash adds a bit of whimsy in a floral pattern. Below the window, the counter drops down to allow a special spot for a golden chair that belonged to the client’s grandmother. Pratt & Larson fish scale mosaic tile in deep sea greens paired with warm grey marble make the shower feel like a jewel box.
